Black lives matter. These past few days and weeks have involved a lot of learning, listening, peacefully protesting, and understanding what I need to do to intentionally create change. And from that, I’d like to do my part, and help how I can. That means first internally recognizing ways in which I can continue the movement, learn, and advocate. For my business that means pivoting the nonprofits and organizations I donate a portion of sales to. Beginning in late 2019 I started donating a portion of all sales to nonprofits and organizations that help our world, and our communities. At the heart of Framed Florals is a mission of bringing more flowers, positivity, and mindfulness into the world. To be completely clear, I’m not attaching these donations to minimize the efforts people are making to fight racism or profit off of what is going on, I’m trying to help in the way that feels right for Framed Florals, and help fight injustice through my platform. My main goal is to help where I can and support the causes I believe make our world better.
