Framed Florals // Nonprofit & Organization Donations

Black lives matter. These past few days and weeks have involved a lot of learning, listening, peacefully protesting, and understanding what I need to do to intentionally create change. And from that, I’d like to do my part, and help how I can. That means first internally recognizing ways in which I can continue the movement, learn, and advocate. For my business that means pivoting the nonprofits and organizations I donate a portion of sales to. Beginning in late 2019 I started donating a portion of all sales to nonprofits and organizations that help our world, and our communities. At the heart of Framed Florals is a mission of bringing more flowers, positivity, and mindfulness into the world. To be completely clear, I’m not attaching these donations to minimize the efforts people are making to fight racism or profit off of what is going on, I’m trying to help in the way that feels right for Framed Florals, and help fight injustice through my platform. My main goal is to help where I can and support the causes I believe make our world better.

Loveland Therapy Fund - With the barriers affecting access to treatment by members of diverse ethnic and racial groups. Loveland Therapy Fund provides financial assistance to Black women and girls nationally seeking therapy. Through fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and more, ultimately Loveland hopes to contribute to both the empowerment and the liberation of the communities they serve.

ACLU - The ACLU works to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people can live openly without discrimination and enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom of expression and association. The ACLU has been at the center of nearly every major civil liberties battle in the U.S. for more than 100 years. A nonprofit, nonpartisan, legal and advocacy organization.

Color of Change - Color of Change leads campaigns that build real power for Black communities. Color of Change challenges injustice, holds corporate and political leaders accountable, commissions game-changing research on systems of inequality, and advances solutions for racial justice that can transform our world. Color Of Change was founded in moments just like this one. As Black communities reeled in grief as all levels of government failed to protect Black people in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Color of Change recognized that not enough of the people and institutions with power over our lives had any fear of disappointing Black people. For the last 15 years, Color of Change focused on building that power.
