Rhode Island Frame Collection

I’m so excited to share the Rhode Island frame collection! This collection of frames is incredibly special to me, as each and every stem and flower I sourced and pressed myself in Rhode Island. The flowers were collected from flower stands on winding back roads, farmers markets, my in-law’s yard, and a local flower farm where I clipped the flowers myself.

The pressing of the collection…

To say this summer has been a unique one, is quite the understatement. Each month brings more change, movement, reflection, and appreciation for what we have right now, and where we’re going. Connecting with nature feels more important than ever, especially after months of being at home in quarantine. These frames were made with those intentions in mind, bringing nature in, appreciating a very slow art form, the organic colors of nature, and appreciating the small things in life. All in the form of flowers, preserved, and designed in handmade frames!

After pressing all the stems in Rhode Island, I came back to Brooklyn and back in the studio let everything fully press and dry out. From there I picked the best stems to create a collection of frames! I hope you all love this collection as much as I do!
