Framed Florals // Feel good about your purchase

Since launching Framed Florals I’ve wanted to combine my love of florals, preserving memories, and making a small positive difference in the world! Starting in 2020, a portion of all sales will be donated to a variety of charities I’m passionate about, and you get to pick which one your purchase supports!

Adopt don’t shop has been my motto ever since adopting my rescue pup & he’s changed my life for the best. I can’t imagine my life without him! I picked Animal Haven because of the incredible work they do rescuing abandoned dogs & cats and finds them the perfect forever homes.

Animal Haven is a nonprofit organization that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the New York Tri-State area and provides behavior intervention when needed to improve chances of adoption. Founded in 1967, they operate an animal shelter in Manhattan. They also provide programs that enhance the bond between animals and people.

Animal Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 11-6101487).

I’m a proud member of the FDNY family, as my husband is a NYC firefighter. I’m constantly inspired by his strength, determination, and hard work protecting and keeping our city safe from fires. Nonprofits that help the members of the FDNY and their families have a special place in my heart. The Fire Family Transport is incredible, as they assist transporting families to and from hospitals.

The central focus of the Fire Family Foundation is assisting the families of firefighters in their times of greatest need, in transporting firefighters, family members and department personnel to and from medical institutions both for care and family support. We also are dedicated to the comfort and support of the families of firefighters in their times of bereavement. Our immediate aim is to minimize the negative impact of injuries and fatalities that members of the fire family endure, by providing vehicles and transportation assistance, in conjunction with the Fire Department of the City of New York. On a broader scale, we are dedicated to the good of the community in building awareness of the often-overlooked needs of the fire department family.

The FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, listed with the IRS and exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Saving flowers from being thrown away is what started me on my Framed Florals journey, and BloomAgainBklyn shares that same motto! I picked BloomAgain because I am passionate about saving flowers, and I love that they give them so much life by bringing them to those who need extra brightness in their day.

Since 2014, BloomAgainBklyn has saved more than 1 million flowers from the solid waste stream and  delivered over 80,000 flower arrangements to senior health care centers, home bound seniors, trauma and homeless survivors and others in need throughout Brooklyn. BloomAgainBklyn has brought joy to many who may not regularly receive flowers or visitors while creating positive interactions between volunteers and recipients.

BloomAgainBklyn is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. EIN: 30-0872187

Since learning about Billion Oyster Project a few years ago I’ve loved following along and seeing what incredible change they’re making to New York City. Their mission is to restore oyster reefs to New York Harbor through public education initiatives. I’ve learned through them how oysters filter water, prevent erosion, and protect NYC from storm damage. I love walking along the East River in DUMBO and seeing their community reef!

Donating to Billion Oyster Project supports the implementation of projects, supplies and equipment for aquaculture, education and community outreach, and large-scale investments in green-blue infrastructure of NY Harbor.  Billion Oyster Project works to revive our shared blue space, creating a healthier, happier, and more resilient city—one oyster reef at a time.

Billion Oyster Project is a 501(c)(3) organization. Tax ID: 27-2918478

Since COVID19 hit NYC, everything has changed. It’s been hard to see so many family and friends effected by the virus in one way or another. I wanted to pick a charity that was working to help families, frontline, and anyone who needs help during this tough time.

Direct Relief is making sure the courage of health workers on the front lines is honored with meaningful support, and the people most at risk in this pandemic are cared for – regardless of politics, religion, or ability to pay.

Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the U.S. and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Direct Relief is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Federal Tax ID number: 95-1831116

I’m so excited to donate a portion of your purchase to the charity of your choice. Is there a charity you’re passionate about? I’d love to hear about it!
